Southern Pacific Sunset Station

San Antonio, Texas

This train station was built in 1902 by the Southern Pacific Railroad to serve its famous Sunset Limited route connecting New Orleans and Los Angeles. The stunning Mission Revival design was the product of architect Daniel J. Patterson, drawing inspiration from the Alamo and other Spanish missions found throughout the city.
